JUNEAU (AP) -- The Sealaska Native Corp. will pay a dividend of $2.08 a share on Dec. 1. That's $208 for a typical shareholder with 100 shares.
The $3.3-million distribution brings the total amount paid in 2000 to $8 million, or $508 for a typical shareholder, the Juneau-based corporation said. That's down from $9.4 million last year.
The dividend money comes from the company's investments in stocks, bonds and other assets besides its subsidiary businesses.
