ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Bristol Bay Native Corp. earned a $3.5 million profit in the quarter ended Sept. 30, up from a $2.4 million loss during the same three months of last year, the regional Native corporation said.
Revenue was $44.6 million, up 56 percent. The biggest revenue Improvements came from its Pacific Northwest fuel sales, up 29 percent to $33 million, and in stock and bond gains, at $3.8 million compared with a $2.9 million loss a year earlier.
For the first six months of Bristol Bay's budget year, profits grew 18 percent to $5.2 million on revenue gains of 24 percent to $79.6 million, the Dillingham-based company reported.
