Mystery Creek Road closed

The Kenai National Wildlife Refuge Wednesday announced the seasonal closure of Mystery Creek Road. According to a refuge press release, road conditions have become poor, although the road has remained open a month later than most years due to minimal snow cover and a late-season moose hunt. The road will reopen to snowmachine travel at a later date after adequate snow cover is received, according to the release.
