School board president Greg Bell spoke at the annual fall banquet about the school's long-term expansion plans. The current enrollment is at maximum capacity of 245 students. Prior to expanding the building, the school would like to tie into the city water and sewer. A sprinkler system would then be installed in the current building. After these projects, the school plans to expand the existing building by adding a commons area which would house the media center and computer lab, among other priorities.
Music teacher Cindy Rehm and the band performed at the banquet. The drama team put on a skit. Eloise Minogue was announced as the winner of the quilt raffle. More than $2,000 was collected by the raffle to be used for capital projects.
Individual yearbook pages can be purchased for $5 at the school office. The deadline is Tuesday.
