On Dec. 2 at 6:30 p.m., the fourth, fifth and sixth grades, under the musical direction of Erin Southwick, will present "Once on a Housetop."
Brooke Hughes was the weekly winner of the ice cream dessert for bringing in box tops for education.
Fun buck winners for the week were Nathan Byerly, Jordan Conner, Rebecca Holt, Cindi Hudson, Lauretta Price, Kobie Talbott, Lance Pate, Halley Moore, Sarah Bressler, Brayden Holt, Jason Phipps, Canyon Cunningham, Jason DeMello, Amber Nicholson, Olivia Hutchings, Trevor Speakman, Carmen Kelly, Rebecca Gamble, Rebecca Hanson, Breanna Ulricksen and Cassidy Miller. They were chosen from the many students who completed good deeds for the week to select a free book.
Mrs. Meyer's sixth-grade class has been making bone joint models as they explore life science. The joints are on display in the front foyer and were made of Styrofoam by students.
Mrs. Bressler's fifth-grade class is focusing on the organization of written material, one of the Six Traits of Writing. Bressler has displayed information and rubrics in the classroom and has taught lessons on this trait to help students increase their writing skills.
