United States did not deserve what happened to it Sept. 11
There is nothing that makes my patriot blood boil faster than to hear the very lame and baseless argument that our country deserved what happened to it on Sept. 11.
These folks that would have us believe that we are the terrorists and the murderers have a very warped and convoluted sense of reality.
I don't recall our country sending anyone to fly jet airliners into skyscrapers for the sole purpose of killing thousands of men, women and children. I have never heard of any U.S. citizen killing himself along with hundreds of foreign soldiers with a truck bomb in the name of freedom.
Oh, I have heard all of the baloney that only a privileged few in our everyday society seem to have access to some conspiratorial newsletter that is printed in some kook's basement. I have heard the arguments that the U.S. is the bully, and the poor Arabs are only defending themselves. I have heard that we have manipulated the whole world and made everyone so mad at us that everyone wants to kill all of us. All of these arguments and others like them are not opinion or debate, but instead are accusations and judgments that are without proof or merit. I can accept someone's opinion if it is a legitimate dissension with American policy, practice or procedure. Even though these folks disagree, they are still on the team.
I do not accept accusations or judgments as opinion, and do not accept accusers or those who judge as teammates.
