On Behalf of the Kenai River Marathon Organizing Committee, I would like to extend a thank you to the many volunteers who made it a success. Your enthusiasm and spirit of teamwork was truly appreciated.

Thanks to Gary Harris for his photography; Jon Lillevik, Craig Jung and the Tsalteshi Trails Association crew for providing accurate timing; Brendyn Shiflea and the entire Kenai rotary Club for their support in getting sponsorships and lending assistance throughout the day; and those bikers and water station attendants for getting up early and assisting the runners and walkers accomplish their goal.

I would also like to thank Mary Rhyner and all those volunteers who helped with registration and packet pickup; the Kenai Little league for the spaghetti dinner; Carol Bannock and her staff at the Kenai Chamber of Commerce, as well as Natasha Ala and her staff at the Kenai Visitors and Cultural Center; Duane Bannock for providing a great BBQ; and to my staff for setting up and taking down the course markers. A big thank you also to Dr. Peter Hansen, Mayor Pat Porter and the Kenai and Soldotna police departments.

Lastly, thank you to the many runners and walkers and congratulations on your achievement!
