Area agency offers USDA free, reduced-price meal program

Home for the Future announces that it is participating in the U.S. Department of Agriculture Child and Adult Care Food Program. Children from low income families may qualify for free or reduced price meals.

Parents' income determines the amount of money the USDA will reimburse. Monthly income eligibility requirements are as follows:

1 $1,709 $1,201

2 $2,302 $1,618

3 $2,896 $2,035

4 $3,489 $2,452

5 $4,083 $2,869

6 $4,676 $3,286

7 $5,270 $3,703

8 $5,863 $4,120

Each additional, add $594 $418
