Thanksgiving meals offered in area

The following businesses and organizations are offering a free Thanksgiving meal today:

The Kenai Senior Citizens Center will host a Thanksgiving potluck beginning at 1 p.m. at the center at 361 Senior Court.

Participants are requested to bring a dish to share. Turkey, stuffing and potatoes will be provided. For more information, call 283-4156.

The Treehouse Restau-rant in Nikiski will serve a Thanksgiving meal from noon to 2 p.m. For more information, call Norma at 776-8500.

The American Legion in Ninilchik is hosting a Thanks-giving potluck dinner from 1 to 4 p.m. Ham and turkey will be served.

Participants are requested to bring a dish to share. For more information or to make reservations, call Linda Painter or Debra Henderson at (907) 567-3540.

The Salvation Army's community Thanksgiving dinner will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Community Center Building at the corner of Second Avenue and Forest Drive in Kenai.
