Lauren Brewer and Brandon Pilatti were married Aug. 21, 2010, at the Alaska West Air float plane grounds, Island Lake, Nikiski, were they grew up as neighbors. Officiating was Brandon's uncle, Russell Harrison.
Lauren is the daughter of Kelly and Danny Brewer, of Kenai. She graduated from Hamline University with a bachelor's degree in political science. She is director at the Kenai Visitor and Cultural Center.
Brandon is the son of Sonja and Ed Clark, of Nikiski; and Dave and Christine Pilatti, of Kenai. He attended Nikiski High School with a mechanic trade concentration. He is a mechanic for Rain for Rent, and is also a song writer and musician currently playing in local band, 907.
The bride wore a short, white dress, cowboy boots and a veil. Sister of the bride Taylor Brewer served as the maid of honor. Birdesmaids were roommates and best friends from Minnesota. Oilvia Brewer was the flower girl.
Sonny Clark was the best man. Rick and Ross Pilatti served as groomsmen. The ring bearer was Kekai Clark.
Honored guests were grandparents, John and Amy Cook, from Washington; Shirley Shook, from Oklahoma; Dan Brewer Sr., from Nikiski, and Loretta Harrison, from Nikiski. A reception followed the ceremony at the Tesoro picnic area. The couple honeymooned in Kihei, Maui. They make their home on Daniels Lake, Nikiski.
