ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Holland America Line will send one of its newest vessels to Alaska next year.

The Seattle-based cruise ship company says the 1,440-passenger Zaandam will join its sister ship, the Volendam, in runs through the Inside Passage.

About 84 percent of the company's cruises will visit Glacier Bay National Park.

Six of the company's ships will sail two main itineraries: Round-trip, seven-day sailings from Vancouver, British Columbia, and one-way, seven-day trips between Vancouver and Seward.
