Doug Moulton, an employee with Peak Oil, plugs in Kenai’s city clock Monday afternoon. The top portion of the clock was connected to its base in Leif Hansen Memorial Park Monday. The clock was designed by Kenai Peninsula College art professor and area artist Celia Anderson and built by Johnnie Bea of ConocoPhillips. The 36-inch timepiece was hauled from Massachusetts by Carlile Transportation before being inserted into the frame. The clock should be running by the end of the week. “You have a vision, and it can come true with the help of other,” said. Kenai Mayor Pat Porter.
