Event's success is music to the ears

On behalf of the KDLL Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, members and listeners, I would like to thank Rebecca Lambourn and all of the wonderful musicians who donated their time and talent at the Open Mic Musical Extravaganza on Nov. 15 at Veronica's Cafe.

Each of these musicians contributed to a fun-filled and very enjoyable evening: Peggy Jones, Jay C. Smith, Nancy Anderson, Scott Q. Merry, Whitey Dyment, David Edwards-Smith, Mike Morgan, Vickie Tinker, Robert and Chris Pepper, Robb Justice, Dan Pascucci, Sarah Superman, Lori Engler, Sam Gillian and Katie Evans.

I would also like to thank Robert Pepper and Katie Evans for organizing and coordinating the evening of great music. And, of course, a huge thank you to Rebecca Lambourn and Veronica's Cafe for hosting the event, for allowing all of the fine musicians to present their music, and for all of the donations made to KDLL by the Cafe patrons, staff and the Cafe itself.

We are grateful that the Extravaganza is fun for all concerned and certainly look forward to next year's musical relief from the cold.
