Capitol move meeting set for Thursday

A meeting to discuss moving the state Legislature from Juneau to Anchorage will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Borough Building. For more information, call 283-4268.

Teen fun night scheduled

The Boys and Girls Club Teen Center will host a teen fun night Friday at 6 p.m. All teens are welcome to attend. Admission is free. The event will feature music, dancing and a pool tournament. For more information, call Dawn at 283-3855

Reading council to host carnival

The Kenai Peninsula Reading Council, with the support of ConocoPhillips Alaska, Soldotna Community Schools and the Peninsula Clarion, will host the third annual Peninsula Reading Carnival on Jan. 29.
