The public is invited to attend the annual Christmas program at 7 p.m. Monday at College Heights Baptist Church on Kalifornsky Beach Road. The children's choir in grades four through six and the high school concert choir will perform. A cookie and punch social will follow the program organized by Mrs. O'Dell's fifth-grade class. Donations will go toward the class project of helping a local needy family during the holiday season.

Thanks to the student council for organizing the junior-senior high annual Thanksgiving feast. Congratulations to Cody Dutcher for being the winner of the games.

The fourth-grade class went shopping for the needy last week. Students needed to budget their funds to maximize the value of their purchases. Thanks to Mr. Leaf for organizing it.

High school volleyball and junior high basketball seasons are ending with region tournaments Thursday through Saturday. The volleyball tournament is in Kenny Lake and basketball is in Ninilchik.

Congratulations to students of the week: Jiaboa Leaf, Ryan Kimball, Elizabeth Daily, David Burger, Chloe Nelson, Noah Leaf and Julie Litchfield.
