The National Barrel Horse Association AK01 district is active in Soldotna and competes weekly June through August at the Soldotna Equestrian Association Rodeo Grounds on Kalifornsky Beach Road. The Soldotna community is extremely generous to our district and its members. Dean Robinson of the Robinson Homestead donated a large round bale of hay in memory of his deceased parents, Jesse and Nina Robinson. CW Tack and Western Wear of Wasilla donated a $50 gift certificate, and Penny Gillen of ALL I Saw Photos, also of Wasilla, gave a $100 gift certificate. Connie Davis of C and C Stables donated a sleigh ride.
