ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Greg Zaporzan had a goal and two assists to lead Alaska-Anchorage over the University of Wisconsin Friday night.
Mike Scott contributed a goal and an assist as the Seawolves improved to 2-6-1 in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association and 3-8-2 overall.
Dallas Steward and Vladimir Novak also scored for Alaska-Anchorage. Steward's goal came on a slap shot at 18:56 of the first period and Novak score at 6:56 of the second period.
Zaporzan's goal put the game out of reach 7:10 into the second period when he put home a Scott rebound.
The Seawolves dominated the game from the opening face-off, out-shooting the Badgers 41-12.
Matt Doman had the lone Wisconsin goal at 7:04 of the first period on a power play.
The Badgers fell to 4-3-0 in the WCHA and 6-7-0 overall.
Goalie Kevin Reiter had 11 saves in recording his second win of the season for Alaska-Anchorage. Wisconsin goalie Scott Kabotoff had 31 saves through two periods. Freshman Bernd Bruckler played the third period making six saves.
The two teams play again Saturday night.
