Posted: Monday, December 02, 2002

SOLDOTNA (AP) -- A marijuana-growing operation in Soldotna was discovered Friday after Alaska State Troopers responded to a 911 call from someone who reported his turkey stolen, troopers say.

The caller repeatedly interfered with the 911 system, according to troopers.

Brian Henry, 30, was contacted at his home by a trooper after the emergency call, and a large and elaborate marijuana growing operation was discovered inside, the troopers report.
