Chambers schedule meetings

See's candy fundraiser

This years See's Candy Fundraiser is under way at Soldotna Professional Pharmacy. Monies earned will go to the PCD Foundation (Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia). Deadline is today for delivery by Christmas. Candy is also available for sale at the pharmacy, limited to stock on hand. 2010 Tree Auction in its last days

The Kenai Visitors and Cultural Center hosts its second annual Christmas Tree Auction through Saturday, Dec. 4. Come to the Center and see the beautiful decorated Christmas trees from local non-profit service organizations, and bid for a chance to take your favorite tree home or to your business. The display is free and open to the public. The auction closes Saturday, Dec. 4, at 2 p.m. with carols and cookies at 1 p.m.

Participating organizations for 2010 include: Patrons of the Kenai Visitors and Cultural Center and the Kenai Convention and Visitors Bureau Inc., Kenai Performers, Performing Arts Society, Kenai Watershed Forum, Peninsula Garden Club, Peninsula Food Bank, T200 Sled Dog Race, Boys and Girls Club, Kenai River Sportfishing Association, Holy Assumption Church Restoration Project, Kenai Peninsula Orchestra, LeeShore Center, Kenai Peninsula Education Association, CERT, Sorpotomist of the Twin Cities, Mattie's Farm, Civil Air Patrol, Girl Scout Troop #571 Nikiski North Star Juniors, Kenai Resilience, Toys for Tots--Kenai Peninsula, Mom's Club, Relay for Life--American Cancer Society and 4-H.

The center will be open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Friday, and open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
