The third-graders celebrated Thanksgiving by helping The Salvation Army prepare for its Thanksgiving feast. The students cleaned and set tables, decorated and peeled carrots and potatoes. Students also participated in an Adopt-a-Friend project by providing monetary funds, gift certificates and gas cards to a special family. The class will continue focusing on having a servant's heart throughout the holiday season by volunteering at The Salvation Army every week until Christmas and will assist with the preparation of care packages and wrapping presents.

The junior high girls' basketball team currently has a record of 12-2, and the boys' team has a record of 12-1. The final tournament is this weekend at Chapman School in Anchor Point.

The elementary music program will be Monday. The fifth-graders will serve refreshments during the program and will be accepting donations for their annual Christmas project of helping a needy family in the area.

The National Honor Society Students of the Week are Brooke Forsi, for leadership on the basketball court, and Greg Brown, for responsibility in drama memorization.

Students of the Week are Andrew Agosti, Amanda Bear, Richele McGahan, Miranda Twait, Kristen May, Reid Schmelzenbach, Albert White, Kelsey Brush and Sadie Arneson.
