We at the Kenai Senior Center would like to send out a huge thank you to the many people in our community who actively support our senior population through generous donations of time, money and personal involmenet. The Kenai Lions Club came and put up our Christmas lights in the back of the center. The lights are enjoyed by many seniors throughout these dark months and the efforts of these volunteers do not go unnoticed and are so greatly appreciated.
Agrium continued the long-time tradition of honoring the area-wide seniors with a Thanskving dinner on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Over 200 seniors from around our area were treated to a beautiful luncheon, complete with door prizes and the smiling faces of many Agrium employees who volunteered to come and serve the seniors. We would like to thank the following: Sue Boycott, Bonnie Cavanaugh, Guy Zufelt, Kale Davis, Cathy Davis, Erika Bronson, Tom Burg, Les Bender, John Caston, Ted VanAntwerp, Richie Patterson, Paul Lyles, Thi Christopherson, Judy Zacharias, Don Zacharias, John Averill, Caroline Ritchie, Chris Sonnichson, Phil Sonnichson, Forrest Pipkin, Joe Pault, Marilu Moreno-Jones, Chris Stephl, Ken Kheldson, Lisa Parker, Malcom Rooper and Bill Switzer. A special thank you to Patty Weaver for coordinating the event and always going the extra mile.
We thank each of you for your participation and to Agrium for the generous community spirit they continue to demonstrate.
