HEA says thanks for successful energy fair

The board, management and employees of Homer Electric Association would like to thank the vendors, knowledgeable speakers, interested participants, and community-minded donors for making this year's HEA Energy and Conservation Fair a success! The fairs, hosted in Kenai and in Homer, brought together over 800 participants and vendors in a mutual interest of learning more about conservation related products and services.

Participating vendors and speakers included Wisdom & Associates, Alaska Housing Finance Corporation, Four D Carpet One, Spenard Builders Supply, Alaskan Wind Industries, Alaska Warm Wood Heating, Dan's TV & Appliance, Alaska Geo Energy, Kenai Resilience, Wood Heat Fire Stone, Radio Shack, Lowes, Home Depot, Glacier Distributing, Kenai Peninsula Efficiency Advocates, Alternative Energy Specialists, Renewable Energy Alaska Project, Christmas Dcor, Stanley Ford, Sears, Green Star, U.S. Rural Development, Alaska Craftsman Home Program, Total Reclaim, Central Peninsula Garden Club, Amso's Carpet & Interiors, VBS Heating Products, Sustainable Homer, Cook Inlet Keeper, ABS Alaskan Inc., and Homer Garden Club.

In addition, ERA Alaska, Eagle Enterprises, Ulmers, Spenard Builders Supply, Two Sisters Bakery, Kaladi Brothers and McDonalds.

Many thanks to the Kenai Challenger Center staff, West Homer Elementary staff and custodians, Homer Hockey Association, Lynn Dusek and the Soldotna Middle School students offered donations and/or discounts.
