Roxanne Michelle Herndon
Roxanne Michelle Herndon died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005, in Ninilchik. She was 25.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, at the American Legion Center at the fairgrounds in Ninilchik. Family and friends are invited to join in the celebration of her life.
Miss Herndon was born Nov. 9, 1980, in Nampa, Idaho. She lived in Alaska for one month.
“Roxy was a devoted, full-time mother. Her bright smile and infectious laughter will remain in all of our hearts. We all have been blessed to have her in our lives. She taught us all how to love more and judge less. All who knew and loved Roxy experienced her joy and unconditional love,” her family said.
She is survived her 8-year-old son, Cody Dutton; mother, Charlene Paight; father, Berman Herndon; stepfather, Michael Paight; sister and brother-in-law, Joleen and David Farebrother; brother, Lewis Herndon; grandmother, Frances Rocco; grandfather, Victor Rocco; grandmother, Oleta Herndon; grandfather, Lewis Herndon; aunt, Vicki Rocco; uncle, Richard Rocco; aunt, Kari Rocco; the remaining Herndon family; the Bentley family, the Trunnell family; the Shandy Family; the McCory family; the Moore family; the Vanlandingham family; and many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be sent to the Paight Family, P.O. Box 39071, Ninilchik, AK 99639.
Arrangements were made by Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai.
