Earthquake rattles area southeast of Deadhorse

ANCHORAGE (AP) -- An estimated 4.5-magnitude earthquake rattled an area 28 miles southeast of Deadhorse on Tuesday afternoon.

A spokesman for the Alaska Earthquake Information Center said the quake occurred at 12:35 p.m. and was centered about six miles deep.

No damage from the quake was detected.
