The Kenai Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Christmas Comes to Kenai event Friday. It never fails to bring the community together year after year.

Special thanks to the volunteers that donated time and energy to make this event a success: Kenai Convention and Visitors Bureau, Kelly and Laurie Bookey, Girl Scout Troop No. 623, Leroy and Chris Heinrich, Sharon Allen, Sherry Grimm, Willa Tallman, Chet Soares, Homer Electric Association, Lynden Transport, Mayor Pat Porter and the Kenai Chamber Board of Directors.

And to those that donated goodies for Santa's visitors throughout the day, we extend our sincere thanks: McDonald's, Funky Monkey, Charlotte's, Kenai Senior Center, Country Foods and Peterkin Distributors.

Thank you to the city of Kenai for cosponsoring the fireworks display. We appreciate everyone's dedication to this celebration. On behalf of the Kenai Chamber of Commerce, happy holidays.
