Peninsula Take a Break women's group will host a holiday tea party and brunch from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Solid Rock Conference Center. Nikiski Boy Scout Troop No. 659 will sell popcorn from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kenai Safeway. Funds benefit the troop and the local scout district.
Kenai Elks Lodge No. 2425 will hold an arts and crafts fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Santa will be at the lodge from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with cookies and hot chocolate for the children. Pictures with Santa may be purchased for $5. There also will be a bake sale and food court. Proceeds will benefit the Christmas fund drive.

The annual Kenai Central High School choir's winter concert will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Kenai Central High School Auditorium. The concernt will feature many winter and Christmas songs, solos and duets, as well as a Cuban salsa type piece and spirituals.
The cost is $4 for adults and $2 for students and senior citizens.
