* The Apostolic Assembly of Jesus Christ -- The Sunday school will present "The Very Best Gift Ever" for its annual Christmas play at 7 p.m. Wednesday.; On Dec. 17, the church will have a birthday party for Jesus with gift-giving and song service at 7 p.m.; a Christmas cantata "The Way He Came" will highlight the Christmas service at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 21; and the new year will be welcomed in with a Watchnight Service at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 31. * Grace Lutheran Church and School -- Christmas for kids, a program to share the meaning of Christmas for youth 3 years old through grade six will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Dec. 13 at the church on Ciechanski, one block, off Kalifornsky Beach Road. There will be Bible teaching, handicrafts, old fashioned games, making and decorating Christmas cookies, as well as a Christmas card.
