Traffic accident injures Anchorage man

ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A 32-year-old Anchorage man was critically injured Wednesday after his car crossed two lanes of traffic and struck another vehicle.

Nathan Lee Williams was driving east on Northern Lights Boulevard at about 9:40 a.m. when he crossed two lanes and a median and struck a car southbound on Boniface Parkway.

Police said Williams was not wearing a seat belt and his head struck the windshield.

The driver of the other car suffered a knee and lower back injury but did not immediately require medical attention.
