Booster club says sponsors score points

Posted: Tuesday, December 06, 2005

On behalf of the Soldotna High School girls volleyball we would like to thank all of our wonderful sponsors for helping us make the Region lll Volleyball Tournament such a success. We had so much support from our whole community and local businesses. All of the participating teams had a great time and the tournament went very well.

It would not have been possible without the support from these local businesses: Tesoro, Wells Fargo, Coca Cola, Midnight Sun Electric, Subway, Jay Rohloff, DDS, State Farm, Central Peninsula General Hospital, Trustworthy Hardware, Sonja Moore, Three Bears, HEA, Country Foods, Froso’s, Spenard Builders Supply, Credit Union 1, Echo Lake Superior Meats, Tim and Kathy Howard, Papa Murphy’s, Grandma’s Cookies, Odie’s Deli, Kaladi Brothers and Safeway.

Our tournament program also was a wonderful success due to the participating advertisers, which we greatly appreciate. We were able to give them away so every participating team and player had a copy, along with all the parents and fans.

We also would like to extend a huge thank you to our parent and nonparent volunteers. As any of you with high school age children know, sports programs would not be successful without the parent’s involvement. Anyone who gave of their time during our season and at the Region tournament, your help is appreciated more than words can express.

If we have forgotten anyone, please forgive us and know we are aware of how much local business sponsors our kids and their sports.

Thank you again to everyone for your generous support.
