ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Federal agents arrested an Anchorage man Wednesday on charges of bank fraud.

Bryan James Koeff, 24, was charged with defrauding the First National Bank of Anchorage.

FBI officials said Koeff used discarded convenience checks containing personal identification information that he found in trash cans. Koeff also used bank account information furnished to him by a former bank employee.

Agents did not disclose the amount of the fraud.

Koeff was arrested at his home and is being held at Cook Inlet jail.
