Holiday events wanted

Do you have a special holiday event planned? Announcements for activities, such as Christmas concerts and New Year's Eve parties, are being sought for the Clarion's What's Happening column. The more information, the better, and the sooner it's submitted, the better.

Be sure to include what the event is, when, where and what time it occurs. Also include a contact person and phone number. Events must be open to the public.

For more information, call the Clarion at 283-7551.

The fourth annual Central Peninsula Writers' Night will be held at the Kenai Visitors and Cultural Center on March 15. The doors open at 6 p.m., the event begins at 7.

The deadline for submissions is Feb. 23, and they should be mailed or dropped off at the Kenai Visitors and Cultural Center. You must have an official entry form attached to the piece and the author's name should not be on the writing sample to keep everything fair.
