Yakutat man held on drug charges

ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Alaska State Troopers arrested a Yakutat man on drug charges Nov. 20 as he was trying to make his way to the Southeast town.

Troopers said Deven James, 21, was arrested at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. James was carrying 4.5 pounds of hashish and 1.5 pounds of marijuana in his checked baggage, troopers said.

James is being held on $25,000 bail.
