ANCHORAGE (AP) -- An Anchorage man has received a 15-year prison sentence in a crack cocaine conspiracy case.
Rodney Scott, 26, will spend a total of 25 years in prison as he also serves out a 10-year term for another drug conviction. He was sentenced to the longer term on Thursday.
In September, Scott pleaded guilty in federal court to conspiring to distribute crack cocaine.
According to court documents, Scott conspired with another person between December 2001 and January of this year to sell crack cocaine. When Scott was arrested, he reportedly had sold more than 50 grams.
In the other case, Scott was found guilty of discharging a firearm during the commission of a drug transaction.
