"It tried this recipe from a magazine. Even people who don't like cranberries will like this dish. It adds tang to a bland meal."

1 pkg. (6 ounces) cherry flavored Jello

1 cup sugar

2 cups boiling water

1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, undrained

3 cups fresh or frozen cranberries, finely chopped

(hint: frozen cranberries chop up nicely in food processor)

1-1/2 cups diced apples

1 cup chopped celery

1 cup chopped walnuts

In large bowl, combine jello and sugar. Add water, stir until jello and sugar are dissolved. Stir in undrained pineapple, cranberries, apples, celery and walnuts. Lightly spray the inside of 2qt. molded serving bowl with vegetable spray. Pour in ingredients. Chill until firm, approx. 4-5 hours. Yield: 12-16 servings.
