"This is a recipe from my Great Grandmother."
1 Cup dark corn syrup
2/3 Cup sugar
4 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 unbaked 9" pastry shell
1 Cup fresh cranberries chopped
1 Cup pecan halves chopped
In bowl, beat eggs with fork until blended.
Stir in corn syrup, sugar, butter and salt. Sprinkle cranberries in pastry shell, then arrange pecan halves on top. Pour syrup mixture carefully over pecans. Bake at 325 for 1 hour, 20 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center edges comes out clean.
