Community helps school achieve goal

On Nov. 17, Kalifornsky Beach Elementary School held its major fundraiser. Students, staff, parents and community members had a fun-filled evening.

The success of the dinner and auction was due to several factors: Sandy Cyr and Dea Leslie put in countless hours; our businesses located in the K-Beach community — Short Stop, Twin Cities Veterinary, S & R Enterprises, Leisure Time Charters, Dale Dolifka, John Nicholas, Safeway, restaurants, coffee shops and our many businesses located throughout the peninsula, teachers, parents and PTA members who not only worked the event, but also made donations.

We thank you for your generous donations and support.

Our community has such a warm heart and continually shows its care and support for our students, teachers and school.

We are fortunate to live and work in such a caring community where people do not hesitate to assist our schools.

Again, our staff and faculty appreciate all your support to help us accomplish our goal.
