Homer chamber mixer planned
The Homer Chamber of Commerce will hold its next chamber mixer from 5 to 7 p.m. at The Homer News at 3482 Landings St. The public is invited to meet the local reporters and behind-the-scene personalities.

Fund-raiser for Love INC scheduled
A benefit garage sale for Love INC will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Sears Elementary School. Donations are being accepted by the Kenai Fellowship Church at Mile 8.5 of the Kenai Spur Highway.

Crafters invited to sell wares
A Christmas bazaar will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday in the Ninilchik School gym. The bazaar is open to anyone wanting to sell their crafts. Rental space is $10. The event is sponsored by the Ninilchik Native Descendants.

Safe Sitter class offered
Central Peninsula General Hospital will offer Safe Sitter classes from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Dec. 22 and 23.
Attendees must be at least 11 years old at the time of class and must preregister. The cost is $50 per student and includes all classroom materials.
