KPHA squad takes three games

The Kenai Peninsula Hockey Association PeeWee B team played three games on the central Kenai Peninsula last weekend and won them all.

KPHA started with a 4-2 win over the Anchorage North Stars. Keegan Remsen had 15 saves and Josh Kerkvliet scored two goals, assisted by Matt Boulette, Sean Endsley and Branden Fisher. Other goals came from Boulette and Endsley. Boulette’s goal was assisted by Kerkvliet and Endsley, while Endsley’s goal was assisted by Kerkvliet and Boulette.

KPHA then defeated the Anchorage North Stars 5-0, with William Granger making 15 saves for the shutout. Zack Sonnichsen had two goals, while Morgan Cunningham, Boulette and Endsley also added tallies. Sonnichsen, Boulette and Endsley had two assists, while Kerkvliet also added an assist.

KPHA then finished off the sweep with a 4-2 victory over the North Stars. Remsen had 19 saves, while Sonnichsen had two goals. Endsley and Zack Zulkanycz also added goals. Assists came from Endsley, Boulette, Sonnichsen, Kevin Stone, Cunningham and Kerkvliet.
