Youth for Understanding at Kenai Peninsula College is recruiting two host families. Each family will be hosting a KPC college student for the spring semester -- first part of January to the middle of May.
One student is a female from the Netherlands and the other is a male from South Korea.
Host families are asked to welcome the student into their homes and provide a room and meals. In addition, each host family will receive a $200 a month stipend. Families are not expected to drive the student everywhere as they have their own funds for transportation.
