COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Lonny Baxter scored 17 points as No. 3 Maryland won its seventh straight game and extended its non-conference home winning streak to 81 with a 79-54 rout of Detroit on Sunday night.
Tahj Holden had 14 points and Byron Mouton added 13 for the Terrapins (7-1), unbeaten since losing their opener to Arizona. Maryland's non-conference run at home, which began in 1989, is the longest in the nation.

EAST LANSING, Mich.-- Marcus Taylor had 18 points for the Spartans (5-3), who led by 41 points at halftime after starting the game with a 27-2 run.
The Spartans extended their home winning streak to 49 games.
Ronnie Price had 10 points for the Colonel.
