Soldotna Montessori Charter

Mrs. Overturf's kindergarten class has been singing "Puff the Magic Dragon" with Mike Morgan and his auto harp. Students have been listening to chords and determining if they sound sad or happy. In celebration of Thanksgiving, the students made cards for Heritage House and plan on cultivating relations with the residents.

Mrs. Larned's first- through third-graders presented reports on Australia and are focusing on the climate and environment that the plants and animals live in. In art, they are drawing shelters from around the world. The students made Thanksgiving books from their own ideas and meaning of Thanksgiving.
