Connections is selling buy one-get one free McDonald's peelers for $10. Proceeds will be used for Math Counts and Battle of the Books. Peelers are available in the office.

Alaska Great Skate will host a home-school skate day from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday. Admission is $4.

The Alaska Department of Fish and Game Sport Fish Division invites students in kindergarten through sixth grade to submit artwork for the covers of the Bristol Bay, Kodiak and Southcentral Alaska sportfishing regulation booklets.
