Cook Inlet Academy

The kindergartners provided a Thanksgiving celebration for their parents by performing songs and reciting verses they learned during the quarter.

The staff and students thank Ted Forsi and Doug Munn for coaching the girls and boys junior high basketball teams and Nicki Munn for coaching the girls volleyball team.

Drama Dessert Theater will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at Peninsula Grace Church. Tickets are available at the office for $8 per person or $25 per family.

The public is invited to the secondary students' Christmas music concert at 7 p.m. Monday at the Soldotna Nazarene Church.

Those participating in the Arizona mission trip will need to provide $100 by Dec. 19 to reserve their spot.

The students of the week are Brady Hanson, for being an awesome helper; Kearstin Yarnes, for friendliness to classmates; Ashtyn Symington, for Bible memorization; Jeffrey McNutt, for excellent thinking skills; Alex Agosti, for gaining confidence in long division; Chemaine Yarnes, for displaying a sensitive heart; Lauren Bauder, for excellent thinking and writing skills on paragraph writing; and Blake Taplin, for band practice hours.
