Grace Lutheran

Posted: Wednesday, December 10, 2003

In Christlight this week, students are learning of the Old Testament events when God sent Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, where they were being enslaved.

Welcome to new kindergartner, Chris Hagel.

Kindergartners are learning about magnets and finding out how they attract and repel each other.

In grades four through eight, students are learning political and physical features of Alaska. They already have learned some of the major cities, along with the different bodies of water around the state.

The seventh- and eighth-graders are studying the western expansion of the United States.

First-grader Kyla Morre finished her addition math facts.

The entire school is working on the Grace Lutheran Christmas Eve service. Students will do recitations and sing songs. Also, Christmas for Kids will be held at Grace Lutheran Church and School on Saturday. All children from preschool through sixth grade are invited. For more information, call 283-7888.
