Story time set to entertain
Kenai Community Library and The Kenai Performers will host “When Stories are Hidden How Can We Find Them?” at 1 p.m. today at the library. A performance of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” will be given by Carol Ford.
Birders flock together
Keen Eye Peninsula Birders will meet at 2 p.m. today at Marlow’s on the Kenai. Jack Sinclair will be the featured speaker. He will discuss the Christmas bird count and Ken Tarbox will have an update on the wildlife viewing trail. Activities for future meetings, birding information and field trips also will be discussed. Peaceful people to meet
People for Peace and Justice will meet at 7 p.m. today at River City Books in Soldotna. In recognition of International Human Rights Day the group will participate in the global write-a-thon.

Kenai Central High School honor society is seeking donations to purchase phone cards to send to the men and women serving in the armed forces. Called “Stay Connected,” cash donations will be accepted Monday through Dec. 24 at the Kenai Senior Citizens Center.
