Hakkinen finishes 79th

Kasilof biathlete Jay Hakkinen finished 79th in a 10-kilometer World Cup sprint on Friday in Hochfilzen, Austria. Hakkinen was 3 minutes, 32.2 seconds behind winner Ole Einar Bjorndalen of Norway. Hakkinen had two penalties and did not qualify for Saturday’s pursuit.
Hakkinen will race in the men’s relay today in Austria.
