Sterling craft fair slated

The Sterling Elementary School PTA will hold its craft and gift fair from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

See's candy for sale

Soroptimist International of the Kenai Peninsula will hold its annual See's candy fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Dec. 20 at the Peninsula Center Mall in Soldotna. Candy also is available from Lyn Hodel at the Soldotna Professional Pharmacy.

Christmas fair slated

The Kenai Peninsula State Fair will host a Christmas bazaar from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 13 at the fairgrounds in Ninilchik. For more information, call Lara McGinnis at 567-3670.

Challenger center plans family activity

The Challenger Learning Center of Alaska in Kenai will host Wonders of Space and Science from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Dec. 20. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Experiment with hands-on, interactive activity stations. Children will receive a "Passport to Science" book to present at each station to receive a stamp of completion.

Swim lessons offered

The Kenai Central High School pool will hold American Red Cross level one and two swimming lessons from 5 to 5:40 p.m. and from 5:40 to 6:20 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Jan. 6 through Feb. 5.

The cost is $50. Preregistration is required.
