ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A man robbed a Northrim Bank in Midtown Anchorage on Monday, according to the FBI.

Special agent Thomas McClenaghan said a man entered the bank on East 36th Avenue, demanded money and fled on foot.

The suspect was black, in his early 30s, 6-feet-1-inch tall and about 185 pounds. He had brown eyes, short, black hair, and a full beard. The man wore a dark denim jacket and pants, a navy blue baseball cap with a red bill, and white sneakers.

The bank robbery was the fifth in Alaska this year.
