SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Crystal Erwin scored a career-high 24 points on 9-of-9 shooting and Jacqueline Batteast had 17 points and 10 rebounds, leading seventh-ranked Notre Dame to a 72-58 victory over Washington on Saturday.

The Irish (9-1) opened the game by hitting their first five shots and were in control throughout, shooting 60 percent while holding the Huskies (4-4) to 34 percent shooting. The Irish dominated inside, outscoring the Huskies 42-22 in the paint and outrebounding Washington 38-28.

No. 6 Baylor 91, Penn St. 70

WACO, Texas — Steffanie Blackmon had 25 points and nine rebounds, and Chameka Scott added 20 points for Baylor.

The Lady Bears (7-1) dominated throughout, leading 52-31 by halftime on 17 points from Blackmon and 13 from Scott.

No. 10 Ohio St. 86, Nebraska 61

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Jessica Davenport scored 26 points, including 17 in the first half to almost match Nebraska's total, and the Hawkeyes shot 65 percent from the field in the win.

No. 12 Michigan St. 73, Detroit Mercy 64

DETROIT — Kelli Roehrig scored 19 points and had 11 rebounds to lead Michigan State to its eighth straight win over Detroit Mercy.

Liz Shimek added 18 points for the Spartans (8-1), and Rene Haynes had 16.

No. 16 Minnesota 69, Santa Clara 42

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Jamie Broback scored 21 points to lead Minnesota to its seventh straight win.

Janel McCarville added 17 points for the Golden Gophers (8-1), and Shannon Schonrock made a pair of 3-pointers to move into third place on Minnesota's career list with 121.

No. 17 Boston College 78, New Hampshire 49

BOSTON — Jessalyn Deveny scored 14 of her 23 points during a 24-9 run to start the second half and finished with nine rebounds to lead Boston College.

Clare Droesch scored five of her 13 points in the second-half run. Boston College (7-1) hit eight of its first nine shots in the second half, extending a 31-26 halftime lead to 55-35 on Deveny's free throw with 11:03 to play.

No. 18 UCLA 92, Fresno St. 76

FRESNO, Calif. — Nikki Blue had 22 points and Noelle Quinn added 21 for UCLA.

Quinn also grabbed 12 rebounds for the Bruins (6-1), who used a 16-3 second-half run to hand the Bulldogs (6-1) their first loss of the season.

Utah 85, No. 23 TCU 72

SALT LAKE CITY — Lana Sitterud made seven 3s in a career-high 27-point performance, and Kim Smith added 23 as Utah won its sixth straight.

Clinging to a 67-65 lead, Smith hit two 3s and Sitterud her seventh of the game to stretch Utah's lead to 76-69.

No. 25 Kansas St. 63, Missouri-Kansas City 31

KANSAS CITY, MO.— Megan Mahoney scored 15 points, and Kansas State limited Missouri-Kansas City to just three in the last 11 minutes.

After Kansas State (5-2) led 28-17 at halftime, Katie Houlehan hit a 3-pointer and Jowan Ortega added a basket to bring the Kangaroos (2-6) within 28-22.
