FAIRBANKS (AP) -- Doyon Ltd., the Interior Native corporation, has declared a dividend of $3.49 a share.
Shareholders who own 100 shares of stock will receive a dividend payment of $349 dollars, starting next week.
Doyon said this is its 17th consecutive year of profitability.
In announcing the dividend, the company said two of its operating companies had their most profitable year ever. Doyon's securities portfolio declined in value, but that was consistent with the general decline of the financial markets, the company said in a news release.
Doyon has 14,000 shareholders.
